Message from Ms. Carugno

We kicked off the week with a Job and Career Fair for our students.  Our local businesses, state agencies, and community partners helped make the event a tremendous success.  Our students represented EHTHS exceptionally well, earning praise for their positivity and professionalism.  A special thank you goes to Ms. Elko and Ms. Kupcinsky for organizing the event.

Ms. Carmen was recognized at Tuesday’s Board of Education meeting by Dr. Gruccio and Security Director Paige for her dedication and professionalism in supporting our students and staff.  She truly exemplifies excellence in all she does and we are grateful for her and all of our security staff who work every day to keep our school safe.

Ms. Jessy Ohlsen visited our MSA Clinical Research students and shared her journey and expertise in Occupational Therapy.  She provided tremendous insight and opened our students’ eyes to career opportunities in this field.

Our Unified students also spent time with the softball team, creating a fun and collaborative afternoon filled with energy and school spirit.  The Unified team put the ball in play and challenged our softball players in the field.  Both groups had a great time working together!

On Wednesday, we proudly hosted “Passport to EHT: A Journey Through Our Cultures,” welcoming students, families, and community members for an evening of celebration.  With authentic cuisine from local restaurants, cultural showcases, games, and performances, the event highlighted the diversity that makes our community so special.  Thank you to all of our community partners and families who joined us for this event.

The CTE Department invites parents and guardians of 11th grade students to attend the PACE (Pre-Apprenticeship in Career Education) Parent Night Information Session on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 5:30 PM in the LGI Room (B180).  This program provides students with valuable career pathways through both classroom learning and hands-on training.  For more information, please contact (609) 653-0100 ext. 1081 or email grahamc@eht.k12.nj.us.

As we move toward spring, don’t forget to support our crew team through their flower sale fundraiser on Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Saturday beginning at 8:00 AM at English Creek Self Storage & Car Care.

Please note that Thursday will be an abbreviated day.  We wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable Spring Break and look forward to welcoming students back on April 13.

Have a great weekend!
Ms. Carugno

Policy 5516- Remotely Activating Communication Devices and Electronic Devices

As we begin the new school year, we would like to take a moment to remind the school community of our district’s no cell phone policy during the school day. This decision was made with one clear purpose: to keep our students focused on learning, socializing face-to-face, and fully engaging in the classroom experience.
