Message from Ms. Carugno

Dear EHTHS Families,
As we begin the fourth marking period, we are excited to watch our students bloom like the flowers in the spring.

Students in Mr. Renteria’s Engineering III class took on the challenge of the SolidWorks Certification Exam, with four students earning certification.  Congratulations to Matthew Ohlsen, Anthony Ona, and Mason Sherbon, and a special shoutout to Gabriela Nunez for achieving a perfect score.  What an outstanding accomplishment!

Our Eagle Transition Academy students showcased their talents by preparing and sharing a delicious breakfast for our staff.  From apple cake to breakfast casserole, everything was a hit.  It’s always great to see our students applying real-world skills in meaningful and impactful ways.

We also enjoyed a great Bring Your Child to Work Day, welcoming our “Little Eagles” into the building.  It was a great opportunity for them to see firsthand the positive impact our staff has on students each day.  Their energy made for a truly special day.

On Thursday evening, we welcomed more than 65 members of our Latino community for an engaging educational session focused on vocational opportunities.  Families were highly engaged, and we appreciate the efforts of Ms. Dilks, Mr. Florido, Ms. Chen, Dr. Schreiner, and Ms. Cunningham for making the event a success.  Special thanks to the EHTEA Pride Grant for their support and to Chilaqueria for providing a delicious dinner.

Finally, our Social Studies Department, in partnership with the Greater Egg Harbor Historical Museum, is celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States.  We invite all families to attend our History Showcase on April 30th from 6:00–8:00 PM at EHTHS.  Enjoy student presentations, interactive activities, snacks, and more as we commemorate this important milestone.

Have a great weekend!
Ms. Carugno

As we begin the new school year, we would like to take a moment to remind the school community of our district’s no cell phone policy during the school day. This decision was made with one clear purpose: to keep our students focused on learning, socializing face-to-face, and fully engaging in the classroom experience.
