Message from Ms. Carugno

What an incredible week to celebrate the Class of 2026!

This week, our seniors kicked off what we hope becomes a cherished Egg Harbor Township tradition, the EHT School District Clap Out Tour.  Members of the Class of 2026 returned to the elementary schools where their educational journeys began, visiting Swift-Slaybaugh, Davenport, and Miller Schools. They were welcomed with cheers, high-fives, and smiling faces from our youngest Eagles.  It was a heartwarming experience as graduates reunited with former teachers who helped shape them into the young adults they are today while inspiring the next generation of EHT students. Watching our seniors walk those familiar hallways one last time as students was a powerful reminder of just how far they have come.

Our seniors also brought the energy to the Senior Olympics! Dressed in their team colors and ready to compete, they enjoyed a day filled with friendly competition, teamwork, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.  A special thank you to Ms. Cole, our dedicated staff, and the WINGS Crew for organizing another outstanding event.  We'd also like to thank the Egg Harbor Township Police Department for joining in the fun and helping make the day even more memorable!  Congratulations to our winners:

2nd Place: Finn It to Win It
1st Place: Purple Rain

Congratulations to our EHT Crew program on an outstanding accomplishment!  The Eagles have been named The Press of Atlantic City's 2026 Crew Program of the Year, a tremendous honor that reflects the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of our student-athletes, coaches, families, and supporters.

The countdown is on for the Class of 2030!  We are excited to welcome our newest Eagles at Freshman & New Student Orientation on Monday, August 24, at 6:00 p.m.  This combined student and parent/guardian event will introduce incoming freshmen to life at EHTHS while providing families with valuable information about what to expect over the next four years.  We can't wait to welcome the Class of 2030 to the Nest and begin this exciting journey together!

Finally, graduation is here!  To help ensure a safe and efficient entry process, a no-bag policy will be in effect during the ceremony.  Guests are asked not to bring backpacks, bags, or large personal items.  Small purses will be permitted but will be subject to security screening upon entry.  Please review the important graduation information available through the following resources:

As another remarkable school year comes to a close, I want to thank our students, families, faculty, and staff for your continued partnership and support.  Together, we celebrated countless accomplishments, overcame challenges, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

I hope you have a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall.
Ms. Carugno

Thank You NJ Judiciary!

Before the end of the year we'd like to give a shout out to the NJ Judiciary. Over the past two weeks we've visited Judge Joseph Levin's chambers and were visited by Judge Julie Nugent. Both judges spoke about the need for professionalism, respecting each other & the rule of law and offered advice to students considering a career in the law. Thank you, Judge Levin and his team, and thank you to Judge Nugent.

Policy 5516- Remotely Activating Communication Devices and Electronic Devices

As we begin the new school year, we would like to take a moment to remind the school community of our district’s no cell phone policy during the school day. This decision was made with one clear purpose: to keep our students focused on learning, socializing face-to-face, and fully engaging in the classroom experience.
