Congratulations to Samuel Leonardo, Michelle Pzydrowski, and Angelina Calcese, who were selected for this year’s NJ All-State Mixed Chorus! With a tradition spanning more than 90 years, the All-State Mixed Chorus brings together some of the top high school singers from across New Jersey. Samuel, Michelle, and Angelina earned their spots through a competitive audition process, and we are so proud of the preparation, dedication, and hard work that got them there! They will represent EHTHS this November during performances in Atlantic City and at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark. Their All-State selection also makes them eligible to be considered for the All-Eastern Chorus.
The rain couldn’t stop the Unified team on Tuesday! While the weather may have moved us indoors, our students didn’t miss a beat. It was wonderful to see our athletes and partners back together, having fun, working as a team, and showing what Unified is all about. We’re looking forward to another amazing season!
We are excited to announce our 2026 Homecoming Court! Our Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during halftime of our football game against Cumberland Regional on Friday, October 9. Queen nominees include Yadelis Mercedes Socorro, Kassidy Steet, Dallas Reed, Addie Lambert, Gabby Fogarty, and Ramisa Dedar while King nominees are Lucas Santos, Daniel Corcoran, CJ Beswick, Daniel Svec, Sean Bishop and Talik Jackson. Good luck to all of our nominees!
We will host our annual Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 10, from 7:00–9:30 p.m. Be sure to shine bright because this year’s theme is “City of Stars!” Tickets are on sale now through Infinite Campus. Please remember that all students must arrive by 7:30 p.m. Students arriving after 7:30 p.m. will not be permitted to enter the dance. We are looking forward to a great Homecoming Spirit Week filled with school spirit and plenty of Eagle pride! Remember, participation in Spirit Week activities contribute to the Battle of the Classes points. The class with the most points at the end of the year will have a Class Carnival.
Tonight at 5:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium, we will host our annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. A special thank you goes to the chairperson, Mr. Lucchio, who has worked to make tonight’s celebration possible. All are welcome to attend! Our inductees will also be recognized during tonight’s football game against ACIT. We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and the impact they had on EHTHS Athletics! #Day1: Be an Upstander. Make Respect the Standard.
Our school is proud to continue our commitment to #Day1, an anti-bullying initiative created by the Tyler Clementi Foundation. #Day1 is designed to set clear expectations for how we treat one another and to empower students to help create a school community built on respect, inclusion, and accountability.
As part of #Day1, students are asked to take the Upstander Pledge, demonstrating their commitment to stand against bullying, harassment, humiliation, and other behaviors that cause harm to others.
Taking the pledge is more than simply agreeing to a set of words. It represents a commitment to put those words into action.
Throughout the school year, we ask our students to remember what it means to be an Upstander:
- Treat others with dignity and respect—even when you disagree. - Do not participate in, encourage, or provide an audience for bullying or harmful behavior. - Be mindful of your words, actions, social media posts, messages, and other online interactions. - Speak up or seek help from a trusted adult when you witness someone being mistreated. - Include rather than isolate, support rather than embarrass, and think about the impact your choices may have on others. - Take responsibility for your behavior and make choices that contribute positively to our school community.
#Day1 doesn't end after Day 1. The pledge represents the behavioral standard we expect our students to carry with them every day—in our classrooms, hallways, activities, athletic events, online spaces, and throughout our community.

Congratulations to the EHTNJ - Egg Harbor Township High School Silver Eagle Band on their 1st place finish with a score of 74.6 in the highly competitive, group IV Open Class at their 1st US Bands competition held at Edison High School!

Welcome back! We hope you and your family had a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer. As we prepare for the new school year, enclosed are the forms and instructions needed to complete the Federal & State School Breakfast, Lunch, and Summer EBT application. Please remember that only one application should be completed per household, listing all family members. Foster children require a separate application. Families also have the option to apply online at www.myschoolapps.com.
The expansion of the Working Class Families' Anti-Hunger Act has increased the income eligibility guidelines, allowing more families to qualify for meal benefits. To ensure your child's meal benefit status is in place for the first day of school, please submit your application online or return the completed paper application as soon as possible, preferably before the first day of school.

Our MySchoolApps online application is now available for the 2026-2027 school year. We encourage all families to complete their application today. Please note that any outstanding meal charges or credit balances from previous school years will carry over into the 2026-2027 school year. Families can manage student meal accounts through www.myschoolbucks.com using Heartland's online payment system. This service allows you to: - Make meal account deposits
- View account activity and purchases
- Monitor spending
- Set up low-balance email reminders
To help avoid negative balances, we recommend maintaining at least a two-week meal balance in your child's account. If you do not wish for your child to purchase snacks using their meal account, please send a written note to your school's cafeteria. Please remember that all negative meal balances are the responsibility of the parent or guardian. If your child's eligibility for free or reduced-price meals changes after October 14, 2026, you will be responsible for any meal charges incurred after that date.
If your child has a food allergy or requires a dietary accommodation, please provide a physician's note to your school's cafeteria. The information will be entered into our system to help ensure your child's dietary needs are met and will be available to cafeteria staff each time your child makes a purchase. If you have any questions regarding the meal application process, the School Breakfast Program, the National School Lunch Program, or Summer EBT, please contact Kristin Doherty in the Food Service Office at 609-383-1464.
School breakfast will begin on September 8th and will be available free of charge to all students.
